Immortal, invincible

OK, so the hymn actually goes “Immortal invisible” but “invincible” was the word that came to mind when I saw this…

A tree grows in Charlottesville

Yeah, that would be a tree, a ‘princess’ tree, to be precise–“also known as the ’empress’ tree, pawlonia tomentosa,” Marc reminds me–growing out of the side of the Monticello Dairy building.

The natural world never fails to amaze me. A seed, some soil, sunlight, a bit of water. And every time, the result is the same … life.


Oh, and you may have noticed my site is under construction again. I discovered that the comments and some other functions were no longer working, so my developer has gone back to work. Until the updates are complete, we’ll be working with the default settings. But I soon hope to have my beautiful banner and colors back, as well as much better functionality. 🙂
